ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FUN INTERNSHIP? 

Are you looking for a hands-on internship where you can fully dive into the world of hospitality, events and sales? YUST is looking for a motivated intern to join our Sales & Events department in Antwerp!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• How to manage event requests from A to Z
• Sales techniques and negotiation with B2B clients
• Event coordination, from planning to execution
• Working with professional booking & reservation systems
• Cross-departmental communication and planning
• Real-life experience in organising private, corporate and in-house events

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily management of the events inbox: handling requests for weddings, B2B meetings, birthday drinks, hotel & restaurant group bookings, etc.
• Calling clients to retrieve missing details and clarify needs
• Creating tailored offers & sending advance invoices
• Planning location visits and client meetings
• Continuous communication and follow-up via email and phone
• Coordination with various departments (hotel, restaurant, kitchen, ops)
• Managing multiple reservation systems and our central agenda

• Preparing meeting rooms & ensuring everything looks great
• On-site presence & operational support during meetings and events

• Active prospection for new clients and companies in the area
• Cold calling to promote YUST's services
• Negotiating prices and terms with potential customers
• Assisting in developing commercial strategies and sales follow-up

• In-house events: brainstorming, supplier search, logistics, briefings, on-site coordination
• YUST ART project: scouting artists, communication & onboarding, coordinating transitions, organising vernissages

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

Everything to do with Event Management: event planning, client contact, budget management, preparation, organisation, and problem solving.

There is no one who can organise an event like you:

• You are fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
• You are a team player with a hands-on mentality
• You are interested in hospitality, sales, art & events
• You are organised, detail-oriented and not afraid to take initiative
• You are available for at least 3 months (longer is a plus)

But above all, you stay ahead of the curve, a trendsetter, who knows what the next thing is before everyone else.
