In September YUST Art welcomes Belgian photographer Olivier le Maire with his expo Hunting the Moment.
Join the free vernissage on Tuesday 14 September from 8pm.
The guidelines of his work are perspectives, movement and evocation. No matter where he is in the world, Olivier goes hunting for a moment, a situation and a place that evoke a title, a word, a sentence, a saying.
His black and white photographs are characterised, by contrast, deep blacks, each work must tell a story and create an emotion. He wants to express something about the mass of humanity in the urban landscape and contemporary environment. Where the human figures merge and disintegrate into the flow of machines and urbanity.
