Vernissage Hendrieke Pardon

Hendrieke Pardon’s paintings emerge intuitively, without a fixed plan. It often all begins with a single colour that appeals to her at that moment. From there, she builds up layer by layer, seeking balance, contrast and soft transitions. She loves colour that is allowed to be present. Colour that brings energy, but also tranquillity. Although her work is vibrant and colourful, softness is always central.

Hendrieke creates art that fills a space with colour and character. Art that doesn’t need to explain everything, but is simply allowed to exist and evoke something in the viewer.
